NEU Solutions completed this project for Borden Chemicals
to provide additional storage capacity for Phenolic Resin flake
at their Barry site. In addition an FIBC discharge system was installed
as another means of feeding material into the system. Storage capacity
was increased by 120 tonnes with two new silos each with twin 30
tonne compartments. For safety reasons, the flake was stored in
a nitrogen purged environment. Existing pneumatic conveying and
nitrogen supply lines for the distribution and storage system were
extended to service the additional capacity. |
