Raw Materials Intake, Reception, Storage & Conditioning : Margarinbolaget AB

  Fairport NEU Solutions designed and built this storage, conveying and batch weighing facility for salt, skimmed milk powder and gelatine. The ingredients are delivered into three 55 m3 silos situated above dedicated weigh stations, each consisting of a 0.4 m3 stainless steel weigh hopper mounted on a three load cell weigh system. The materials are transferred, at throughputs of 3 tonnes/hour to five mixer hopper assemblies, each located adjacent to a dedicated mixer. An IBC discharge unit is also available to receive product delivered in 1 tonne big bags.
