  Fairport NEU Solutions designed and built this IBC discharge and batch weighing system for margarine ingredients. The lean phase vacuum conveying lines feed gelatine, starch, buttermilk and caseinate, in powder form, from the IBC discharge stations (Flomat) and sack tip unit into either of a number of weigh hoppers. The hoppers are each designed to hold the maximum ingredients required for a single mix and weighing accuracy is provided by two-speed rotary valves. Conveying air is filtered at each weigh hopper and ingredients weighed by load cells.
