Fairport Process Equipment designs and manufactures a complete range of bucket elevators, which are available in widths ranging from 100 to 600mm and can be constructed from stainless steel or mild steel with suitable surface coatings or galvanising dependent on the application.

Fairport Process Equipment ensures that bucket elevators are robustly designed to give the highest possible efficiency and service lifetime. The elevator head section is made from heavy gauge steel and has removable sections for inspection and cleaning; a re-enforced rubber wear strip is fitted as standard at the downward arc of the hood. The elevator boot is also fabricated from heavy gauge steel and has clean-out doors and a belt tensioning and adjustment mechanism. Heavy gauge pressed steel buckets or plastic buckets are bolted to belting or chain with patent bolts and self-locking nuts. The belts or chains are shaft driven, being mounted on self aligning ball and roller bearings, which are sealed through the elevator casing. Drives, dependent on application, can be integral motor and gear units or belt/chain driven; all drives are fully and safely guarded.

Fairport Process Equipment manufactures bucket elevators which provide minimal maintenance and spares costs and have applications in the bulk material, chemical and food industries. Designs are also available for the handling of highly abrasive materials.
