Design, build and commission a prototype plant that converts PFA, Sewage Sludge and Clay into a lightweight aggregate. Fairport supplied the structural steel, belt presses, mixing equipment, dryers, pelletising equipment and the aggregate coolers, hoppers and silos. The electrical installation and control systems were also supplied by Fairport. The project was undertaken on a partnering basis.
