GENERAL HEALTH & SAFTEY POLICY STATEMENT
It is the policy of the Fairport Engineering Group of companies to comply with the terms of the Heath and Saftey at Work Act 1974 and subsequent legislation. The Board of Directors have approved that it's operations are executed at all times in such a way to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, saftey and welfare of all it's employees and all persons likely to be affected by it's operations, including subcontractors, licensees and public where appropriate.

Concern for health and saftey is to be viewed in the same light as other management responsibilities and business objectives. The prevention of all accidents involving personal injury or property damage is essential to the efficient operation of the company. The Group will ensure that adequate resources are available, that appropriate saftey training and instruction is provided by each company and that accident prevention is included in all relevent training programmes to ensure that legal obligations for health and safety are met.

The Group Health and Safety Manager together with Management will review this Policy on a regular basis and make recommendations to the Company Board of Directors for updating and modification if necessary.

The Board of Directors believe that every employee has a responsibility for health and safety within the provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. It is therefore incumbent on all employees and subcontractors to take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of any others who may be effected by their acts or omissions and also to co-operate with the Company in it's arrangements to perform or comply with statutory safety obligations which includes adherence to the Safety Policy which should read in conjunction with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. The specific arrangements for the implementation of this policy and the personnel responsible are detailed in document 3300/H&D/PM-01, Health and Safety Policy Manual.
