Technical Access Engineering
designed a 2.4m x 24m double deck fully enclosed platform to give
access to all the elevations including the stairwell recess on the
Kirkgate elevation. Bramhall Construction installed a scaffold tower
encompassing the rear facade recess with a platform at each floor
& an Alimak passenger & goods hoist to service each platform level.
The double deck suspended platform was deployed such that when it
was set in the working position, the decks aligned with the Alimak
to give unhindered access for men and materials. |
