Ash Handling Plant designed to handle high temperature (150°C – 430°C) highly abrasive material.
The plant was designed to combine low carbon content ash from Drax Power Station with high carbon content ash from Ratcliffe Power Station.
The biomass Reception, Storage and Blending plant is designed to store 1500t of road vehicle delivered biomass fuels (Olive Residues, Palm Kernels and Shae Nuts) and meter this at a controlled rate into the existing boiler coal feed system.
Storage and transportation of a range of biomass materials from road vehicles through to existing coal plant conveyors.
Tower Colliery: 350t/h Anthracite Coal Preparation System. ROM coal reception and homogenisation system. Wemco dense media bath large coal separators. DSM dense media cyclone small coal separators.
Design, manufacture and installation of two silos, each 60m high x 12m diameter with a total volume of 5000 cu.m.
Unloading at 2,500t/h Pelletised Biomass from two new Ship Unloaders and then using inline Elutriators to de-dust the pellets before transport via the modified existing belt conveying system to the boiler bunkers.
